As of March 2020, amidst the COVID-19 outbreak, around 36 percent of internet users surveyed in Brazil said they would stop to shop online from China, while approximately one third (33 percent) stated that they would stop to shop online from Europe and/or the United States. Overall, digital consumers' concerns with cross-border e-commerce in Brazil included shipping time and tax and customs.
