Between July 2021 and July 2022, supermarkets and hypermarkets in France earned over 4.1 billion euros through the sales of spirits and liqueurs.
Purchasing habits differ slightly from one generation to the next: consumers between the ages of 30 and 40 tend to try drinks considered more "niche," such as Cachaça or Mezcal, in somewhat higher numbers than their elders.
