While new vehicle sales grew at over 31 percent on average in the first five months of 2021 in Russia, the A segment saw a decline in the number of new registrations in the given period compared to the corresponding period of 2020. That is, 589 new A class vehicles were registered countrywide between January and May of 2021, marking thus a nearly 28 percent drop in the volume relative to the previous equivalent period.
