French people are rather honest regarding their insurance company. Indeed, a recent survey showed that a large part of the French population would not be willing to commit insurance fraud. When looking at the issue of fraudulent reporting, it appears that only six percent of the people surveyed had declared a damage that never occurred when reporting a claim to their insurance company at least once, while most of the respondents had never resorted to this form of fraud.
