Respondents' main reasons for using ride-hailing services APAC 2020, by country

In a survey conducted in 2020 on reasons why respondents used ride-hailing services, 33 percent of respondents in South Korea stated that the main reason they used ride-hailing services were the lesser costs compared to owning and driving a private car. Comparatively, 32 percent of respondents in India said the main reason they used ride-hailing apps was the ability to multitask when being a ride-hailing passenger.
