Number of Drive retailers service points in France 2014-2020
The number of Drive service points, which consists of picking up online grocery orders at a designated location, has risen since 2014. There were about 3.6 thousand locations in 2015. In the space of three years, there were a thousand more. And, in 2020, there were more than 5.2 thousand recorded drive locations in France. In terms of supermarket structures with the most development in that area, hypermarkets with more than 7,500 m² had the biggest Drive service adoption in 2019.
