This Argentine economic sector registered year-on-year decreases in activity of 8.3 and 5.1 percent in those months, respectively, after registering an increase in the first three months of the year.
The slowdown in economic activity in the sector in Argentina is largely associated with decreased demand due to lockdown measures implemented in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
