Average audience share of pay TV & video streaming in Brazil 2020-2023
In March 2023, an average of 21 percent of TV sets in use in Brazil showed content streamed from video-on-demand platforms. That was more than twice as much as the average share of TV sets in use tuned to pay TV channels during that month: 8.6 percent. Close to three years earlier, in May 2020, both types of platforms had averages oscillating around 14 percent.
