The issue of insurance fraud is a serious challenge for French insurance companies, since fraudulent activities have a substantial impact on these companies' financial situation. However, when focusing on the question of false invoices, it appears that only five percent of the people surveyed had declared having presented false invoices or cost estimates to their insurance company at least once, while a large proportion of the respondents had never resorted to this type of fraud.
