In a survey conducted in 2022, 80 percent of residential consumers stated that they were satisfied with Royal Mail's quality of postal delivery to one's home. The same survey revealed that the items being delivered intact is also among the most important aspects. Overall, customer satisfaction with Royal Mail has declined with only one performance indicator recording a satisfaction rate of at least 80 percent, down from three KPI's the previous year.
