Share of interest in Drive services with pedestrian access in France 2019
The Drive has been experiencing a spectacular development in France, reaching almost five thousand Drive service centers in 2019. However, unlike the click and collect concept, where people are able to order their products online and retrieve them in store, the Drive for pedestrians did not follow this trend. Indeed, the source had asked a representative sample of the French population if they were interested in retrieving their groceries by foot. Most of the respondents (52 percent) were not interested at all.
