The export volume of domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States reached 369.9 billion cubic feet in March 2024. This was a similar amount to the volume exported in the same month the previous year, but the highest export volume so far for 2024. The slump noted in summer 2022 was partly a result of a fire at the Freeport liquefaction plant.
