According to a survey conducted on consumer sentiment in June 2020, 62 percent of the Indian respondents were planning to visit retail stores after the COVID-19 lockdown is lifted in the country. Majority of the respondents of about 75 percent preferred regular sanitization of stores to create a safe and hygienic environment for shoppers.
