Major worries when using cashless payment in Japan 2022
According to a survey conducted in Japan in February 2022, around half of respondents stated that they were concerned about the risk of their personal information being leaked or improperly utilized when using cashless payment methods. Another major fear was the missing transparency of the amount spent on purchases, with 37.7 percent worrying about being too spendthrift due to lowered inhibitions.
