Among the different engineering and performance plastic materials, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), was the highly consumed EPP material in India during the financial year of 2019, with approximately 240 kilotons.
EPP is a plastic material that has better chemical and mechanical properties than its counterpart, commodity plastic. Because of these properties, they perform better under stress and heat. It is also for this reason they are used as a replacement for traditional material. Automobile, aerospace, and food processing were few industries that used this material quite often.
