Thailand: weekly YoY growth in Airbnb bookings Ko Pha Ngan

According to data from Airbtics, weekly year-over-year bookings of Airbnb in Koh Panganin the week ending July 25, 2020 were at a low of 14.3 percent of last years bookings, representing a decline of 85.7 percent. Due to the travel restrictions imposed by the Thai government amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic, Airbnb bookings in Koh Pangan were overall significantly reduced when compared to the same period of the previous year.

"Active listing" here means a listing that has its first review before 2019 April and its last review after 2020 March, so that the booking difference between 2019 and 2020 can be compared in a more fair way.

The dates refers to the week ending (e.g. Jan 12, 2020 shows the YOY change in number of bookings between January 6-12, 2020).
