Rail freight volume of iron & manganese ores in Russia 2020-2022, by destination
In 2022, approximately 17 million metric tons of iron and manganese ores were transported by rail from Russia to abroad. That constituted a considerable decrease relative to the previous year, when the figure exceeded 26 million metric ton. As for the domestic market, the transported freight volume of the named commodities reached nearly 98 million metric tons in the latest period under conideration, marking a five-percent growth from the previous year.
