According to 2019 forecasts, the industrial robot market was expected to increase by roughly five percent in 2020, reaching 10.6 billion U.S. dollars. The coronavirus pandemic, however, completely upended such forecasts: according to the estimates made in May 2020, the industry will start to recover only from 2021 onwards.
