As of June 2020, most Italians intended to spend in the following months the same amount as the previous year on DIY products. Specifically, about 51 percent of respondents declared that their spending on such products was not going to change compared to 2019. On the other hand, some 31 percent of interviewees believed that the expenditure on DIY items was going to decrease.
