Preferred distribution channels for bricolage and DIY purchases in Italy 2020
According to a survey conducted in Italy in 2020, Italians preferred to purchase bricolage and DIY products in specialized stores close to their homes. In particular, some 31 percent of respondents indicated this distribution channel as the main place where they normally purchase such products. In addition, 20 percent of interviewees declared to choose websites which were specialized in e-commerce. Eventually, websites of specialized chains held the lowest share, chosen by about 12 percent of respondents.
