As a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, people have been seeking less crowded places to take a break. Amongst North American leisure travelers in April 2020, prior to the pandemic, camping accounted for 11 percent of all trips, while post COVID-19, camping is likely to account for 16 percent of all trips taken.
