U.S. adults that took a staycation as of August 2020
The term 'staycation' is typically used to refer to a holiday spent in one's home country rather than abroad, or one spent at home and involving day trips to local attractions. When asked if they had ever taken a 'staycation', 63 percent of adults in the United States stated that they had taken this type of holiday. In contrast, 37 percent of respondents stated that they had not taken a 'staycation'.
