As of the second quarter of 2023, the domestic wholesale trade index in Singapore recorded declines in almost every industry. In contrast, the industrial and construction machinery sector experienced 24.8 percent growth in domestic sales compared to the same quarter the previous year. Transport and equipment, on the other hand, decreased by 39 percent compared to the same quarter the previous year.
