According to a survey on female job opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa region in 2019, among tertiary education graduates, 34 percent of females post for educational programs, compared to 17 percent for males in Egypt. Moreover, social sciences, journalism and information were more popular among males with up to 25 percent of the graduates, while is was 48 percent for females.
