Share of youth using their own photos on social networking services (SNS) Japan 2020
According to a survey from June 2020, a majority of more than 63 percent of young social media users in Japan who were aged between 17 to 19 years old did not use photos showing their faces for their social media accounts. Values were similar to the share of young people who use their real names on social media.
