According to a survey published in July 2020, only six percent of Italians would consider to spend their summer holidays in China. Similarly, just nine percent of respondents claimed to consider the US as a potential destination for their summer vacations. By contrast, Spain, Finland, and Norway were the preferred countries for international summer trips during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As of July 2020, visits to these countries were considered by 23 percent, 22 percent, and 20 percent of interviewees, respectively.
