Consumer preference changes by collection mean following the lockdown in France 2020
During and after the coronavirus lockdown in France in 2020, people were asked about their shopping preferences. When buying groceries, 63 percent of the representative population stated making food purchases directly from the store, against 24 percent who collected them by drive (car collection point). After the confinement, people were increasingly prone to shop in-store, while the drive, home delivery or pedestrian collection point preferences did not change significantly.
