The number of customers of Deutsche Telekom has increased over the given period, from approximately 179.1 million customers in the first quarter of 2019 to OVER 259 million customers in the second quarter of 2024. The surge in Deutsche Telekom’s customer base in Q2 2020 can be traced back to the merger of T-Mobile and Sprint, two major network providers in the U.S. Notably, T-Mobile is majority-owned by Deutsche Telekom. This strategic consolidation significantly contributed to the dramatic increase in the number of Deutsche Telekom’s customers.
