Reasons for performing qurban through official distributors Indonesia 2020

As of August 2020, 64 percent of Indonesian respondents from medium risk areas for COVID-19 stated that they preferred to perform qurban during Eid al-Adha through an official distributor because they feared the COVID-19 outbreak. Qurban is the ritual of slaughtering livestock such as cow, goat, sheep, or camel as a sacrifice during the observance of Eid al-Adha. Indonesia has the world's largest Muslim population, with approximately 225 million Muslims.
