After the declaration of the state of alarm on March 14, 2020 due to COVID-19, the Spanish experienced a phenomenon hitherto unknown in the recent history of the country: a quarantine.
Suddenly, the population was confined to their homes trying to avoid the spread of the dreaded SARS-CoV-2. Video calling platforms then became an ideal tool both for telecommunications and for keeping in touch with family and friends. If we look at usage habits by age range, it should be mentioned that the highest percentages of use were registered among those users under 46 years old.
