According to the survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Vietnam, approximately 63 percent of the respondents who are aged between 25 and 34 years old stated that they more often ordered food on food delivery apps during the COVID-19 pandemic. In comparison, no respondents in this age group reported never utilizing food delivery apps. The same survey showed that Vietnamese usually order food several times a month on food delivery apps.

The question asked in the survey was as follows: "How did your food delivery app use change during the COVID-19 pandemic?"
The survey was conducted among respondents of the following age groups:
16-24 years: 812 respondents
25-34 years: 1,056 respondents
35-44 years: 643 respondents
45-54 years: 183 respondents
55 and older: 87 respondents
