In a survey published in 2021, cyber-bullying was perceived as the major threat that young people in Italy could experience online. Some 66 percent of individuals aged 13 to 23 years indicated online bullying as the main danger to encounter online. Moreover, about 46 percent of interviewees believed that the loss of privacy represented a relevant threat, whereas 37 percent of respondents thought that becoming a target of stalking represented the main danger.
