Saudi Arabia is the leading country of origin of crude oil imported by Brazil, accounting for nearly 22 percent of the total import value in 2023. The United States followed in second, concentrating some 18 percent of Brazilian crude oil imports. That same year, Brazil's total crude oil imports were valued at about 9.1 billion U.S. dollars.
