As of August 2020, 65 percent of Indonesian respondents stated that they preferred to perform qurban conventionally because they wanted to witness the process of slaughtering the qurban animal. Qurban is the ritual of slaughtering livestock such as cow, goat, sheep, or camel as a sacrifice during the observance of Eid al-Adha. Indonesia has the world's largest Muslim population, with approximately 225 million Muslims.
