Weighted average rate of the French sovereign green bond 2017-2020
Since the launch of the French sovereign green bond (Green OAT), with a coupon of 1.75 percent maturing on the 25th of June 2039, issued by the Agence France Trésor at the beginning of 2017, the volume of outstanding bonds has continued to rise, reaching the amount of 27.38 billion euros in July 2020. Considering, on the other hand, the weighted average rate of the green OAT, it appears that this rate, which was 1.74 percent in January 2017, has decreased down to 0.31 percent in July 2020.
