As per the results of a survey on Indian food delivery apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2020, majority of respondents of both genders used food delivery apps less as they had more time to cook for themselves and their family due to COVID-19 pandemic. About 41 percent of female respondents between the age of 16 and 34 years stated that they ordered less through delivery applications as they wanted to reduce unnecessary expenses.
