French consumers tend to favor made in France products as much as possible, even if it means spending a little more. In 2019, almost 80 percent of the French considered that a fashion item was sustainable if it was manufactured domestically. When it came to products made in other European countries, 45.8 percent of the respondents deemed them sustainable.
