According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Thailand, 55 percent of the respondents aged 55 years and above decreased or stopped ordering food online because they wanted to cook more for themselves and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic as of June 2020. In contrast, only six percent of respondents aged between 16 to 24 and 35 to 44 years stated decreasing their online food orders because of increased fees.
