The National Women's Soccer League, also known as NWSL, is a professional domestic women's soccer league in the United States. Founded in November 2012, the league currently comprises nine teams throughout the United States, with two more teams set to join in 2021 and 2022. In a survey conducted in August 2020, only six percent of Hispanic respondents in the United States stated that they were avid fans of the NWSL.
