A study of most visited e-commerce websites worldwide found that by June 2020 all of them reduced their monthly advertising budgets by an average of 18 percent. The largest decrease was seen with those normally spending between 100 thousand and one million dollars per month on advertising their e-commerce business, at 34 percent. Those spending less than one thousand dollars and more than one million dollars have reduced their monthly ad budgets by 14 percent in June 2020 compared to a year earlier.
