According to a survey among Chinese internet users, around 12.6 percent of respondents born after 1995 spent more than 2,000 yuan on fitness a month, higher than 5.2 percent among respondents born in the 1970s. Nevertheless, more than one-fifth of the respondents born after 1995 said they rarely do sports, remaining the highest proportion among all age groups.
