In 2024, the total internal tourism revenue in Germany is expected to amount to 442 billion U.S. dollars. The Statista study on Luxury travel and tourism in Europe amid the pandemic shows that 85 of the total revenue is expected to come from domestic tourists. By 2024, Germany is forecast to record the highest total internal tourism revenue among trending European luxury travel destinations.
