Global hydrogen pipeline network by country 2016
The United States has the most comprehensive hydrogen pipeline network in the world. As of September 2016, hydrogen pipelines with a combined length of 2,608 kilometers were stretched throughout the country, primarily in refinery hubs in Texas and Louisiana. Belgium followed, with over 600 kilometers of hydrogen pipelines. Air Liquide is the largest hydrogen provider and owner of the majority of pipelines, particularly in Europe.
