In the context of the environmental crisis, French banks have an important role to play in the transition towards a more sustainable development model. And yet, most people in France consider that the banks' contribution to this transition is minimal, or non-existent. According to this survey, however, more than half of the French population considered the social, societal and environmental commitment of banks to be an important criteria in their decision to become or remain a customer of a bank.
