Due to the coronavirus pandemic, some 85 percent of retailers estimate that food safety and sanitization methods will be heightened in foodservice operations in convenience stores in the long-term. In addition, more than half of the sample (53 percent) believe that online ordering and delivery will become more common than in-store purchasing as a result of social distancing measures.
