Nearly half of African Americans in the U.S. felt that racism is addressed too little in advertising, with 48 percent of respondents critical of the handling of racism in promotional material according to a survey from June 2020. This opinion was reflected similarly across other ethnic minorities, compared to 28 percent of respondents from the White demographic.
