Cinema advertising expenditure in Central and Eastern Europe increased by approximately 54 percent in 2021 after a sharp decrease by 66 percent in the previous year, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, cinema was the fastest growing advertising channel in the region. In 2022, advertising in movie theaters across the CEE region was projected to fall by 11 percent.
