Between January and June 2020, most container carriers saw a decrease in fleet capacity. Maersk and MSC, the world's largest container shipping companies, decreased their fleet by 54 and 15 vessels, respectively. Contrary to the majority of carriers, HMM acquired four vessels over this period.
