Average per-trip expenses on outbound travels in South Korea 2019, by age group
According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2019 among South Koreans who had traveled abroad, adults spent more on average per overseas trip than teenagers did. Respondents over 70 years old, as well as those in their fifties spent the most, with an average of over 1.2 million won each. The least average amount was spent by teenagers between 15 and 19 years of age, who spent around 1.01 million won per trip.
