Over four out of five Chileans believed that climate change will worsen poverty and inequality in their country, according to a survey conducted in November 2019. At that point in time, 82 percent of respondents in the Andean country said they either agreed or strongly agreed with that statement. Meanwhile, 19 percent of Chileans disagreed with the statement in some level.
